The 1811 Farm

Ten generations. More than two centuries. One family line still caring for the same ground.

The Farlow–Trimble–Haworth family farm traces its story to 1811, when Joseph Farlow and Ruth Lindley Farlow acquired the land. Its own archive describes a sheepskin deed signed by President James Madison, continuous family stewardship, and recognition with Indiana’s Hoosier Homestead Bicentennial Award in 2016.
